The culture at Coco Beach is more cozy and tranquil when compared to the beaches near the ferry dock. If you want it emptier and emptier still, continue on north. It is less trendy than its sister beaches, such as Playa Tukan or Playa Mamitas, but it is more deserted, perfect for those who treasure their privacy.

Aside from lazing under the sun on a quiet afternoon, you can also go snorkeling along the Chunzumbal reef in front of Coco Beach. This reef is also the place for practice sessions before you go scuba diving.
